2 Part Technique - Making your opponent expose his elbows for attack from the Mount is a matter of maintaining the top position while hand-fighting. To attack the Nearside Spiral Armbar, Marcelo pummels underneath his opponent's wrist as he scoots his knee higher up by the shoulder. Then, he throws his leg over on top of the other shoulder, trapping the other wrist underneath, and allowing him to sit back into the Spiral Armbar. If the opponent is quick to pummel back his wrist when you look to get under it, switch directions and press his wrist into the floot. When he tries to rescue his arm out of position with his other hand, shoot your hips and knee high onto his shoulder as you throw your leg over his far shoulder for the Armbar from Mount.
