Side Control to North South Position, Double Over Control from North South, North South Choke
Prime the North South Choke by clearing your opponent's arms away from his head with Double Over Control. Although you can sometimes surprise many opponent's with the choke directly from Side Control, a keen adversary will prevent it quite easily if you do not clear his arms first. This process may involve pummeling and/or pinning techniques, but the end result is the same; holding the North South Position until the opportunity to strike yields a higher finishing percentage.
