Marcelo's 100% Training Philosophy
Most of the time, our training will not be spent sweeping or passing but rather, it will be spent in the build-up to the sweep or pass, in the transitions. And at the very least, it will be the times where we will have to expend most of our energy. Regardless of rank, we have to spend as much energy as we can during our training. Marcelo saves all of his energy for the mats, purposefully neglecting weight-lifting or extra conditioning. If you want to improve at jiu-jitsu, focus on jiu-jitsu.
