2 Part Technique - While wearing the gi, securing your grip to counter your opponent's Half Guard with a Guillotine Choke becomes troublesome on account of the jacket lapels getting in the way. As he begins to sit up with his underhook to sweep, modify your Guillotine by feeding his collar into your hand, effectively looping around his neck for a tight choke. If you cannot stay on top to finish, roll underneath to Side Control and keep his chest flat against yours as you squeeze for the tap.
