3 Part Lesson - As the opponent spirals underneath you, base against his inversion and forbid his free leg from crossing. React against his movement towards your back by anchoring into the position of Back Step vs Half Guard. If you feel the opponent has spun to deep underneath you, bail out of the position by freeing your leg and reset. Stall his attack by turning your knee against his inversion, press his knees down, and force yourself into Half Guard by connecting the Under Hook and Head Control.
