3 Part Lesson — Paul, with the assistance of Munchie, teaches a Hip Toss set-up that may come from countering two common methods of attack: [I-II] If your opponent has claimed a Double Under Bodylock, break his hold in three ways; a) walk your hips away and cross your arms, b) walk back in base and frame against his face, or c) support your frame with both hands, delivering a knee to his midsection. After freeing yourself from the hold, step around to the side for Over/Under Control and find the opportunity to step inside for the O-Goshi (Big Hip Throw) and Ukigatame (Floating Hold/Knee-On-Belly). [II] If the opponent puts you in a Bear Hug, with both of your arms trapped, place both of your hands on his hips to frame as you walk your hips back for the break. Bend your knees as you run around to his side so you can disconnect your shoulder from his body, taking Double Under Control for the Hip Throw.
