2 Part Lesson — Marcelo teaches a variation on the Single Stack Pass: [I] Against the Open Guard, guide one of the opponent's legs onto your shoulder while pinning down his opposite leg with your hand in a stacking position. Instead of driving into the opponent's frames on your shoulders and hip, whip his leg across your face and bite down on his hips with your arms to establish the pass. [II] Circumvent your opponent's Hip Switch and Foot Wipe Counter by hugging his thigh deeply in the Stack with a Gable Grip.
