2 Part Lesson — Marcelo shows nogi options for escaping a leglock against Butterfly: [I] If your opponent is commited to attacking your foot, place your instep across his stomach and bring him in close with Double Elbow Control for a Hook Sweep from Butterfly. If his weight is not positioned in alignment for the regular Hook Sweep, look to apply the Reverse Hook Sweep instead. Arrive on top and free your foot from his hold. [II] If your opponent is too far away to hold close by the time you realize he has attacked your foot, turn your ankle inward and kick his grip open with your free leg to slip out of the lock.
