3 Part Lesson — Paul shows 3 interrelated submissions strung together from Mount: [I] Upon inserting your hand inside your opponent's collar from the Full Mount Position, prepare to adjust your hips so that your opponent no longer has a positional advantage with his Arm-Trap Bridge-Escape (Upa). Take your hips off to the side opposite your inserted hand. When he turns away, find the armlock. [II] If he turns into you, take the Cross Collar Choke. Look towards his feet when applying the finish to allow yourself the chance to readjust your hips if he tries to bridge and roll. [III] If your opponent grabs your arm, bend his hand at the wrist, folding it with your weight, and double up with boths of your hands to secure the Wristlock.

I joined this site because of Marcelo but I have also come to really enjoy watching Paul's videos. I've done martial arts all of my life and jits for about 12 years or so. I've seen good instruction and I've seen instruction that was truly a waste of time. Paul's instruction consistently fits into the former. Paul is really good at explaining technique and providing details that make a difference.
