2 Part Lesson — Marcelo shows contingent options for when his opponent is defending his Bow-N-Arrow Choke: [I] If your opponent makes counter-grips against your sleeve or even his own lapel to pull away from your strangle, utilize your legs to help pin down his arms as you yank his collar into his neck. [II] If you cannot finish from the traditional seated angle for the Bow-N-Arrow Choke, tuck your leg underneath and build your base back to the Mount Position. Keep the collar hand strong and latch onto your opponent's far arm to pull yourself down on top while you choke him.
