Mixing It Up
1 Part Lesson -- Marcelo talks about mixing a pass up with over, under, around, and through: There are six methods of attack in terms of passing the guard; you can go left or right, inside or outside, and up/above or down/below -- with respect to the opponent's legs. These prepositions are important for expanding your arsenal when faced against a high-level guard. You cannot expect to advance your position with a singular pass, especially if it fails repeatedly.
