2 Part Lesson -- Marcelo shares his signature entry into Jujigatame and a re-counter for its Udehishigi finish: After passing into Side Control with a Underhook pummeled, you can take advantage of the momentum from the transition to attack immediately with an Armlock. Isolate the far-side arm with the Underhook and your head. Pull the opponent onto his or her side and drop your elbow heavily onto the torso. Step around the head and keep the opponent from turning away from the position or bucking you off of the top. Whip your foot across the opponent's hip and fall onto yours, extending the elbow for the armbar. [04:47] If your opponent manages to clasp his or her hands together in defense, you can utilize your feet against the far-arm (relative to your seated position) to kick and weaken the grip. You can also choke up higher on the opponent's arm by tucking the near-side elbow into your armpit and cinching up onto the wrist.
