3 Part Lesson -- Marcelo reverses out of a solid Side-Mount: Bump your opponent with sharp and short bridge movement to rearrange your arms out of danger; create a frame to pummel for an Underhook and check the far hip with your forearm. Next, bridge hard and strong, turning over onto your knees and wrapping around the opponent's near-side leg from the Underhook. Finish with a Single or collect the far-leg for a Double. [04:10] If your opponent tries to run North/South, use your arm opposite of the Underhook to block the opponent's hip as you use your feet to chase him or her around. Launch into the Single-Leg attack before he/she has a chance to recompose. [07:20] If your opponent tries to apply an Arm-Turk or Navy-Ride by cradling your legs, make sure to flare the elbow of your Underhook outward to prevent him/her from reaching your knee/pants. After you deflect the first attempt, immediately turn over to attack the Single; otherwise, you risk letting the opponent resetting the position.
