2 Part Lesson -- Marcelo escapes from follow-up attacks after defending a Triangle: If your opponent snatches you inside a Triangle Choke, find a grip to help keep your arm from crossing and making the choke tighter as you either posture up or pull your head out. Don't let your opponent straighten your arm for an Armbar or bend your elbow into an Omoplata. Duck underneath your opponent's legs and swivel around into Side Control with a modified Single Stack Pass. [03:47] If your opponent's legs are heavy so that you cannot readily duck under them for the pass, opt for a Cartwheel or Round-Off to get around to Side Control; land on your feet so that you can immediately begin imposing your weight on top by driving off the mat.
