2 Part Lesson — Marcelo shows a counter to the Elbow Push Escape: [I] If your opponent applies the Elbow Push technique against your Stack Pass, circumvent his force by spinning around through North/South to the opposite Side. Look to drive forward and establish control to keep the side position. Don't hang out halfway around or else you run the risk of getting dumped over-the-top. [II] If you are too slow to run around his Elbow Push, immediately grab his legs and lift his knees up to prevent him from sitting up. Strum your arm around and down to make a grip on his back to help win the pass.
