2 Part Technique - Before your opponent has a chance to transition to the seatbelt, take you down, or worse, capture his wrists and circle your hips toward one of his legs. Insert a butterfly hook between his legs and drop to the floor, seizing an underhook on his calf. Once flat on your back, insert your second hook for the X-Guard and look to finish with the Unbalance Sweep. If your opponent follows you closely as you try to drop into X-Guard, escape the precarious position by rolling from shoulder to shoulder, executing the Hip Roll Escape. After the body lock breaks, look to finish by coming up on top.
