2 Part Technique - If your opponent attempts the Knee Slide Pass with Collar Control, hip escape and shove his knee back into your half guard. Instead of removing his grip from your collar, trap his arm by chopping down on his elbow and hugging him tightly. If he tries to free his arm by retreating, insert your butterfly hook into the space he created and use the Cross Arm Trap to Reverse Hook Sweep from Half Guard. If he redistributes his weight to counter the reverse hook sweep, switch to Belt & Over Control for the regular Hook Sweep. Remove his post according to it's distance from you: If his hand is posted far away, cup underneath his elbow; if close, cup over.
