2 Part Technique - If your opponent secures Underhook & Head Control against your half guard, make space with the Bridge Escape to pummel for an underhook of your own and hip escape to insert a butterfly hook. Use your underhook accompanied with the lift from the hook to direct him over onto his back with a Hook Sweep from Half Guard. If he is making it difficult to relcaim the underhook because he is dropping weight onto your shoulders, take advantage of his light hips and extend out his leg with the Reverse Lockdown (the outside figure-four lacing the ankle) to make space for your butterfly hook. Use the hook to lift even more space for your underhook to enter in after he posts against the threat of reversal and finish with the Hook Sweep.
