2 Part Technique - You're ready to step over for the Farside Armbar when your opponent blocks your leg from coming around with his hand. Bypass this minor roadblock by circling your knee inward and then pinning his arm underneath your shin as your reset your base. With his arm pinned, you've cleared a path to step around and fall onto your hip to finish with the armlock. If he grabs onto your leg in a way that doesn't allow you to circle and pin his arm, use your far other knee to step on his arm and pin it to the mat. While still holding his arm down, pivot your shin so it lays across in the opposite direction so you can position yourself to attempt the armlock on the other side. Apply pressure by raising your hips and brining his hand to the side of his legs, making it hard for him to escape.
