2 Part Technique - If your opponent begins to interfere with your pushing hand while you break his Closed Guard from Standing, grab onto his gi pants on the inside of his knee so that you can continue applying pressure. Keep hold of the grip when you pin his leg to the floor in Open Guard before you prepare to pass with the Knee Slide. If you feel that he has a keen offense from his Open Guard, you may consider passing directly into his half Guard upon breaking. If he holds your sleeve and prevents you from establishing the overhook for your Over Under Pass, use your knee to step on his wrist while you yank your arm free.
