4 Part Technique - Remove your opponent's grip on your collar from standing by dedicating both of your hands on his sleeve or wrist, ripping it off with forward motion from your arms, and reeling backward with your body. Before he can reclaim a grip on your gi, clean up the hand fighting area by twisting your profile, and knocking away his sleeve grip. If this grip on your sleeve is strong you may need to strike it off with your free hand, or maybe, you may need to rip it off with a knee drop. If he grabs over your shoulder and behind your back, make a frame with your hands and smack his arm off with a twisting motion. If there isn't enough room to twist, duck under and push off the grip with both hands, as done similarly when countering the normal collar grip.
