2 Part Technique - Marcelo always prefers to finish his guillotine choke without his opponent's arm inside the hold. If he takes you down and passes your guard while you were holding the Front Headlock and searching for the guillotine, forgo the arm-in finish and dedicate both hands to pushing away his shoulder via his arm. When extended, pass his arm across your body to expose his tricep for the Elbow Push Escape. As soon as you let go of the Front Headlock from bottom, quickly stop his arm from coming down with a crossface. If you can no longer push his arm across, push it back into him and hip escape away until you can place a knee between and then Foot Wipe Escape.
