2 Part Technique - It is important to address the removal of your opponent's grip the moment after its made; waiting to deal with it will only work against you in the long run. If he bypasses your hands and grabs onto a same-side sleeve, immediately use your free hand's palm to strike the inside of his grip's wrist. If he secures a cross-side sleeve, use your free hand to pop his shoulder back as you rip your elbow back to break his grip. Regardless of the breaking method, keep your shoulders in parallel with his as much as possible so you prevent opening up an angle for him to attack.
