3 Part Technique - After countering the Stacking Pass using Elbow Push, the opponent will often react by holding your legs. Prevent the opponent from establishing the position or reaching for head control by sitting up immediately using your far arm as a post. Occasionally, the opponent's neck will be open for the modified Short Rear Naked Choke. After connecting your hands for the submission, use your entire core for strength to pull the opponent at his neck to release your legs and secure the choke. If he does not expose his neck, attempt to open your legs wide to break his hold for the Seat Belt Control. Often, the opponent will only hug your legs to figure out how to advance the position, so use his hold against him by turning your hips sharply and reversing the position. If the opponent resists your first attempt forward, switch backwards for a different reversal.
