2 Part Technique - The opponent must release the Under Hook and Head Control to look for a submission. Even though this is a more dangerous situation, this is a perfect time to work your Elbow Push escape. Pass his arm over your head once you secure the elbow control. Use the momentum of your swinging legs, while scooting your hips away to sit up for the needed leverage. The opponent may switch to a reversed side control to counter the escape. Often, he will expose his neck for the Rear Naked Choke when he attempts to put your back to the mat. If the opponent keeps his chin down while trying to flatten you, use his pressuring momentum against him with the Hip Turn technique.
