2 Part Technique - The opponent might prevent you from establishing Side Control by extending his arms out for a strong frame. Collapse and parry the posting arms by switching to your hip and continue to secure the position by using Under Hook and Head Control. If the opponent uses his knee in between to create space, use Knee on Belly instead. Usually, he will attempt to shrimp away, so fall down with the Under Hook and Head Control to score with the establish Side Control. Circle around towards his back if is able to shrimp more than previously.
