Elbow Push vs Stacking Pass, Hip Roll vs Side Control

2 Part Technique - Prevent the opponent from establishing a secure Stacking Pass by blocking the closest arm. Pass your legs over while pushing your arm to full extension for the best Elbow Push possible. If the opponent is able to counter your Elbow Push and is close to taking your back, use the Hip Roll. The most important part to the Hip Roll is putting your shoulders to the mat.

When you do the elbow push, are you concerned about him circling his feet and hips toward your head like a N/S or even jumping over your head to side control on the opposite side?  and how do you prevent this?
