2on1 Guard Pull → Tripod Sweep from Cross Guard → Pumphandle Gi Grip → Unbalance Sweep from X Guard → Single Leg Takedown
2 Part Lesson — Marcelo teaches new sweeps: [I] After using the 2on1 to pull down into Cross Guard, release the opponent's elbow, grabbing his heel, and raise his leg up onto your knee for the Tripod Sweep; get him hopping around on one foot before kicking out his remaining leg from the mat to come up on top. However, if your opponent doesn't fall from the chop with your hook, pass his leg across your Cross Grip over on the other side and hide his foot from escaping with your elbow. Switch to X-Guard and tip him back while holding the pump-handled sleeve to rise on top for the sweep. [II] If your opponent decides to bail from the position after you pass his foot to the opposite side, immediately belly-down and come up with the Single. Finish the Single Leg Takedown by holding his sleeve and kicking out his base.
