2 Imperative Safety Concerns for Stand-Up
Marcelo sets up 4-Minute Rounds with 2 minutes standing for takedowns and the remainder on the ground for grappling. 3 partners are in each group, rotating in for 2 out for 1, while the opponent outside may rest but has to watch for other colliding pairs. Before beginning any stand-up with a partner, make sure you are both on the same page as far as safety: Never jump on a person's legs and never spike their head into the mat.
