3 Part Lesson — Marcelo shows a sequence against big standing opponents: [I] If your opponent frees his knee on a Single, raise his foot high into your armpit and chop out his other leg with a strong back kick. Pounce on his back with a Rear Bodylock as he lands and then jump up to the Seatbelt. Once fastened, you can either set your Back Hooks and roll to a side or stay on top to work the Crucifix. [II] If your opponent begins to lift himself up from the mat on all-fours, fall off to the side and collect his nearside arm into the Crucifix. Next, trap his far hand with 1on1 Wrist Control and work the Rear Naked Choke or Straight Choke. [III] If your opponent is smart and finds your hands with his or hers after the trip, use the balls of your feet to help drive them forward, forcing them to release your hands for the Seatbelt.
