4 Part Lesson - Marcelo maintains a strong Seatbelt Control: [I] If your opponent places both hands under your Seatbelt Grip to pop it open, quickly release and re-grip, effectively fazing through his break. [03:29][II] If your opponent controls one arm, use your free hand to rescue your trapped arm from his grips by peeling away or yanking backwards. Keep your movements tight and short and reclasp the Seatbelt higher than normal to avoid it breaking again. [08:16][III] If your opponent holds your arm long enough out of the Seatbelt to throw his back to the mat, yank your hand free and immediately attack his neck for the Rear Naked Choke. If his neck isn't open for the finish, reapply the Seatbelt to keep the opponent's back. [13:37][IV] If your opponent curls forwards to free his back and possibly escape your hooks, sit up and try to chop at his neck for the Choke or Re-Seatbelt.
