2 Part Technique - It is important to free yourself of grips before you attempt to escape, otherwise your opponent will use these controls against you and pull you back into his position. Before worrying about his knee from the Knee-On-Belly position, focus your effort on removing his grips on your collar first. Once removed, roll away from him onto your side until you can push off the mat with the Hip Roll Escape. If he weights himself against your roll, continue to hold his wrist with 2on1 Control and turn back into him for the Foot Wipe Escape.
