Knee on Belly, North South Choke from Knee on Belly
2 Part Technique - The Knee-on-Belly is a great position for letting even the most cautious opponent make a mistake when he opens up to escape. Be sure to take your other knee off of the mat to score any points if they're awardable during competition. The North South Choke is available at any time he doesn't look toward you in side control, including looking away from you. You can even force him to look away with a crossface or even underhooking his far leg from turning in. As long as he can't face you, you are free to land your ribs onto the side of his neck for the beginning of the choke.
