Collar and Elbow Control from Butterfly, Hook Sweep from Butterfly, Frame Escape vs Over Under Pass, Omoplata from Butterfly, Short Hook Sweep from Butterfly
2 Part Technique - The Hook Sweep with Collar & Elbow Control is oftentimes best implemented during the transition between moves, or at the tail end of a recovery or an attempt. Since the collar tie trades control for speed of access, the opponent has a window to pummel for an underhook and flatten you with Over Under Control. Don't let his head move foward; build a frame with your extended arms and hip escape away. If he follows you, hip escape once more and throw your leg over his shoulder into the space you've recreated for the Omoplata. Sit up immediately, even without the use of your hands, and grab onto his far shoulder to establish the top position. If he continually closes the space you create from each shrimp escape, meet his next advance with a follow-up Hook Sweep, into the direction he drive his weight. Use the Collar & Elbow Control again, emphasizing the grip on his elbow to ensure he cannot post against the Short Hook Sweep.
