Henrique devises a drill to end the class that incorporates two common Open Guard Passing scenarios: one in which the opponent allows you to pin his leg to the mat, and the other where he resists this. Stand to break the Closed Guard, set yourself in the ready position with your elbows protecting your hips, and pass with the Knee Slide Pass if your partner doesn't resist when you press his knee down. To reset the position so that you may work the alternative pass, have your partner escape the Side Control with a Bridge and Hip Escape back to Half, and then Full Guard. Open his Guard once more and this time, utilize the Stacking Pass when your partner resists the Knee Slide.
