2 Part Technique - If you're held down with tight Underhook & Head Control, a strong bridge is a major key for creating enough space to escape the hold. Additionally, when one bridge isn't enough, you must chain together a series of bumping with the Bridge Escape from side to side. Eventually, your opponent will weaken to one side and expose a path for an escape out. If you free your nearside elbow after a bridge, grab onto his tricep and commit to the Elbow Push Escape. If you encounter trouble escaping in this direction, pummel your nearside arm for an inside tie and keep his crossface away long enough to execute the Foot Wipe Escape.

It's great to see Marcelo demonstrate some of the finer points to his defense and escape game which I believe is very underrated. Awesome video, thanks!
