Practice your Single Leg vs Side Control by having your partner block your nearside either directly from the Side Control, or after bridging in an attempt to recover the Closed Guard. Make sure you are aligned underneath facing both of his knees, rather than out and to the side. Step out with your foot and pull his knee towards this post. Establish the Side Control once on top, and have your partner repeat the same sequence to alternate the repetitions.
