2 Part Technique - As your opponent falls on top of you, looking to establish Underhook & Head Control for a pass, try to hault his torso by locking out your arms, giving room to cut your legs back in for the Foot Wipe. If you miss the chance to lock out and he closes the distance too much, don't let him connect his hands together. One of the best ways to accomplish this preventative measure, is to turn onto your side and grab onto his crossface with both hands. As long as he can't exert his control with a grip around your head, you will have the time and space to hip escape back to guard. If he does close in and control your head, turn over onto the other side and block him from utilizing his underhook. On this side, since you can no longer face into him to hip escape away, turn up onto a shoulder and Hip Roll Escape back to guard.
