Knee Inside Pass vs Open Guard, Transition to Mount vs Butterfly, Mount to Knee on Belly, Knee on Belly to Mount Control
2 Part Lesson — Paul shows a few ways to crawl over into Mount: [I] Utilize Double Collar/Lapel Grips to drive your knee across on the opponent's same-side leg and staple it to the mat while you hunt for a tight, far-armpit Crossface. Next, cut your other leg through the inside of the opponent's guard directly to Butterfly Mount, then Full Mount. [II] If your opponent can catch your ankle in Quarter Guard from the Butterfly Mount Transition to Full Mount, switch to Knee-On-Belly first before mounting in order to make the opponent turn away from the catch.
