Marcelo helps Jimmy find a solution for when his opponent stops his "Over/Under Pass" (Underhook & Overhook on the arms, not the legs e.g. Miragaia or Bernardo Faria's Over/Under) and takes him to the opposite side. The answer is to perform a Back-Step Pass, and in this case, on the opposite side Marcelo would normally try to apply the Backstep. This movement is akin to the very common "Long-Step Pass" or Reverse Backstep done by other high-level competitors with the right-lead leg swinging outside rather than the trail-leg. Marcelo suggests cradling the leg after the switch if one is fast enough to recognize the situation. Otherwise, keep circling around to avoid getting placed inside your opponent's Half Guard.
