Marcelo and Alex Condos help out former Bellator Bantamweight World Champion, Zach Makovsky with a problem in regards to passing against a Leg-Lasso or Foot-Wipe movement. If one's arm becomes entangled when passing low and tight, you may need to offer an angle for the opponent to attack with an Omoplata and counter it early. However, the better option is to avoid letting the opponent's leg insert itself between your face and his or her body. Keep heavy pressure against the torso with your head and shrug your shoulder close to your ear to close off the space necessary for the leg to pummel inside. Otherwise, you run the risk of Omoplata, Armbar, Gogoplata, Biceps Slicer, etc. If your opponent is well versed in Rubber Guard techniques and frames with his or her forearm to keep space, try diving forward and bringing your head closer to the opponent's head to keep position.
