2 Part Technique - Use strong pedaling motions with your legs to hip escape away against an opponent clamping down on your hips. Depending on which side opens first dictates your Hook Sweeping options. If the opponent posts his arm against your Short Hook Sweep, work with the new space you created. Attack with the omoplata since you can continue your elbow control. If the opponent posts his arm against your Hook Sweep, the situation works better for the Guillotine.
