Sprawl vs Takedown → Double Leg Counter → Step Over Mount vs Sit Out
3 Part Lesson — Marcelo show contingent options for when his Sprawl is insufficient in stopping a Double: [I] Wiggle your hips until you generate enough room to pummel for an Underhook to Whip-Over the opponent. If you cannot find room for the Underhook, grab a hold of his pants and use this grip to tip him over or create space. [II] It is important when drilling this technique to give good postural energy from the Double Leg; continually build yourself up and don't immediately succumb to the weight of the sprawl. [III] If you tip your opponent on his hip, mount over his legs before he has a chance to rebound and come back up with the Double. Slide your hips down atop his to prevent him from coming back up.
