2 Part Technique - Attacks, transitions, and escapes relies on mobility. If the opponent controls your head, your body cannot follow and preform. Use a frame against the opponent's Half Guard control to maintain the mobility needed in escaping. Use your frame as a tool to cross the opponent's arm, allowing you to push against his elbow to escape.
