2 Part Lesson — [I] If your opponent prevents you from connecting your hands together for Underhook & Head Control by framing against your cross-facing arm, either circle under or over his frame to make your grip and pass the Half Guard. [II] If he frames with both of his hands, take advantage of his crossed-arm by pressuring into his armpit, forcing his arm to extend away into Head-N-Arm Control. Whether you can keep the Katagatame/Arm-Triangle or not, keep your hands together and finish with the Half Guard Pass into Side Control.

As a white belt..I find that this position is very effective due my limited skill set..it helps to keep me more in an offensive attack..versus a defensive type position..especially when i'm able to connect my hands..I have been highly successful in tournaments using this position..to the point where I've even beaten a few blue belts..with mainly using this move..MGinAction has improved my jiu jitsu easily over 50% in just over a month of subscription..thanks a million.
