Far Side Overhook Armbar from Side Control, Kimura from Side Control
2 Part Technique - While maintaing side control on an opponent with an Underhook, he may drape and expose his arm over the opposite shoulder you would normally attempt the Far Side Armbar from Side Control on. In the event that this happens, the armlock is still attainable but you must switch controls and dominate his arm and elbow with an Overhook instead. It is important to use the overhook to drive your opponent onto his side while still maintaining a solid base beneath you. If he takes his arm off of your shoulder, secure the figure-four grip around his bent arm, and either attack with the kimura or your originally intended armbar.
