2 Part Technique - The Collar Choke from Knee-On-Belly is an important technique to master because it can open the door to even more submission opportunities when your opponent tries to defend it. You will need to make sure that your Knee-On-Belly is heavy against his stomach, and your instep is tight against his hip so there's no room for an easy escape. Secure the cross collar grip; fingers inside, thumb outside. Grab his collar on the opposite side of his neck with your other hand, and turn the blades of your wrists into the sides of his neck. To finish, take off the Knee-On-Belly and turn him onto his side, bringing him close to your chest.
