2 Part Technique - Knee on Belly is a great position to make your opponent move, which will expose himself for a submission. For the Collar Choke from Knee on Belly, grab the back of your opponent's lapel firmly with your thumb facing out. If your opponent attempts to remove your arm by grabbing, bring your knee inside and scrape it away. With his arm pinned to the mat, pull your opponent towards you and make a grip to scissor your arms for the choke. If your opponent resists the choke by pushing away, pull his arm deep across your body and pinch it with your ribs and thigh. Finish the armbar by dropping your weight on his elbow.
