1 Part Lesson -- Paul teaches how to get the Rear Naked Choke when his opponent defends from your Strong-Side Back Control:
If your opponent is fighting with both arms and tucking his or chin to avoid your attack, stack the odds in your favor by trapping an arm; use 1on1 wrist control to punch the opponent's forearm down within reach of your topside hook. Rip your arm free as you bit down with your heel into the stomach, trapping the opponent's arm and preventing it from properly defending your attack. Peel off the other hand from your choking arm and feed the wrist into your choking hand. Peel back the opponent's chin from his or her chest by gripping the forehead and pulling back to reveal the neck. Release the wrist control and sling your forearm across the throat, immediately connecting your arms together for the finishing pressure.
