Triangle from Closed Guard, Armbar from Closed Guard
2 Part Technique - The most important thing to control while trying to lock and finish the triangle choke is your opponent's posture; always maintain at least one form of control on his head while transitioning between each sequence to the choke. Starting from double wrist control, throw one of his wrists into his chest while you shelf your leg on top of his shoulder and re-close your guard. Immediately look to cross his arm in front of his face with a palm-down grip while you use your free arm to hug his head into your stomach. Place a foot on his hip so you can pivot your hips out, bringing your calf down across the back of his neck and continuing to break his posture with downward pressure by grabbing onto your shin. Once the proper angle has been created, lock the figure-four with your feet flexed, pulling down on the head for the finish. If he manages to defeat your posture breaking attempts while his one arm is still trapt inside your closed guard, shift your hips and transition to the armlock.
